“I’m so happy my children are safe” was such a haunting statement. My heart breaks for her. She fully believed the commanding voices. I think this testimony was the most impactful evidence to me of her state of mind.

Honestly I think the chaplain’s testimony was one of the most impactful. When she told her “I’m so glad my children are safe” I immediately burst into tears. My initial thought was she didn’t know what she did. But of course she did, and she must have still been in her episode even then.

I noticed that everything the chaplain wrote down was present or future faced, feeling hopeful etc. it wouldn’t make sense for her to be like digging into the past and documenting that. It’s not productive to the situation at hand

Maybe Lindsay wasn’t traumatized by the bands during physical therapy because she didn’t do it that’s a possibility and I honestly think that they were bullied growing up so this is their chance to be the bully now
