you can also literally use the word hum! haṃ (pronounced hum) is the sanskrit bīja (seed) mantra of the viśuddhi cakra/throat chakra. each cakra has one of these sacred syllables that resonates most potently in those energy centers. yaṃ/yum is for the anāhata cakra/heart chakra, raṃ/rum is the maṇipūra cakra/solar plexus chakra, ॐ/oṃ/auṃ is for the ājñā/third eye and sahasrāra/crown cakras. you can chant those mantras on a single note or let your voice move and create melody on its own. your technique of using melody and rhythm is so beautiful, thank you for sharing your light and knowledge and helping the world heal 🤍

When I was a kid, I would hum to help relax my body and mind…I truly believed that I was the only one who could hear it. One day I was in class at a new school humming at my desk, my teacher came and whispered to me; “you know everyone can hear you right?” She laughed and continued on in her lesson. From that day forward; I stopped humming. This video confirms to me once again; children are wise. They know what to do and how to be.
