Ok so I was never a big fan of reading. A buddy of mine that I game with knows I’m a huge necromancer fan. I mained the necro in both Diablo 3-4 and in Last Epoch. I’m a necro fanatic. So he introduced me to WebNovel and told me to read Solo Leveling. And omg what a great read that was. I thought to myself there’s no way I could read any of the other books on this app I doubted anything could match that energy. So for like the next 3 months I would poke my head in the app every couple days and look up different types of things to see if I could find something worth my time. Shadow slave kept popping up every time I opened the app. Let’s be honest just seeing Sunny on the cover looked cool before reading it but it’s just kinda a dull cover photo. So after like 3 months of seeing it pop up all the time, I finally read the synopsis. I was like pretty cool but 2800 chapters? I’m not a big reader and that a lot of reading. So I left it be for about another month. At that point I came across an AI video of the book that went through his first nightmare. The video didn’t say what the book was or anything and I had become invested into that video and wanted more. I made multiple comments on that video trying to get the source and after another 2 weeks someone finally commented and said it was shadow slave in WebNovel. I was like no shi I guess ima have to start reading it. I got so invested into the book before I knew it I was like 600 chapters in. Anyone who hasn’t read it yet I’m telling you it’s the best book of the century maybe even going to be the best of the millennium. It does get a little slow at times but trust me it’s never gets boring. I’m currently at chapter 1900 and there are currently over 3000 chapters wrote and it’s still being written. It’s 1,000% worth the money you spend on it.
