I wasn’t even allowed to behave like this as a child. Also I don’t want to hear how this is “fatherless behavior”. I grew up without my father, just my mother, and was always self contained, taught manners, privacy, and was well behaved. There’s no excuse for this.

Just like a pipe bomb under pressure will eventually explode, a person who isn't allowed to vent will eventually snap. Everyone has their breaking point. In the adult world, high-status people can release this pressure publicly because society reframes their aggression as dominance or they simply have the privacy to do it in secret. In fact, high-status individuals already actively live out this privilege to lash out every single day without consequences. Lower-status individuals are the only ones socially punished for exploding. This leaves them with an unfair choice: suppress their emotions at the expense of their health, or react and endure the social backlash.
