@ohneis652: You no longer need to know 3D to direct a 3D shot. But you do need to know which move you're asking for. Two ways into it inside Magnific's 3D Motion: Keyframes — pin the camera where it starts, drag, pin again. Exact, repeatable, clean. Or scan the QR and walk the move on your phone. Your hand becomes the operator. That choice isn't a shortcut versus the real thing. It's two different points of view. A stabilized move floats. It moves through space unaffected by anything around it, which reads as omniscient — the audience is watching the scene from outside. Handheld does the opposite. It carries your breathing, the tremble in your hands, the small corrections your body makes without deciding to. The viewer ends up inside the space rather than above it. That's why one reads designed and the other reads filmed. Camera movement isn't a technical setting. It's tone. Two things that make the difference between usable and unusable: Leave camera language out of your prompt entirely. Describe the scene and the look. If the prompt says "slow dolly in" while your take pushes left, you've given the model two conflicting instructions and it will average them. And move slower than feels right. Whatever motion you make in your hand gets amplified once it's mapped into the scene and played back on a small screen. What feels sluggish in the room almost always lands correctly on the frame. The 3D part takes a few minutes. Not a career. Save this before your next shot list.
