My husband uses VA healthcare, and it’s honestly a perfect example of government-run healthcare. The referrals, authorizations, billing issues, and hoops just to see a doctor can be ridiculous. Government-funded healthcare sounds great in theory, but the system also has to actually be efficient and easy to use. It’s currently not and will not be if the whole country enters this system.

I don’t trust them with healthcare, education, nukes, to “have our best interests” at heart, my subway sammich, my lunch money from the 3rd grade, or to spearhead the investigation of a political assassination. 😊
