Are you referring to a FedWire or an ACH? Recalling a FedWire is ALMOST impossible, but an ACH can be recalled under certain circumstances! However, I’ve never known a bank (I’m involved in banking, 40+ years) that would send either one unless the account had AVAILABLE GOOD funds, or a VALID Line of Credit! Who initiated the payment to Synchrony?

Same thing happened to me, but didnt let them pickup until funds cleared... showed pending... but never cleared which it never did, but he wanted it picked up ASAP! Filed a police and FBI report since he was "Texas" and I am in NM. Sorry this happened to you 😔

I sold a BMW and my bank created me a new bank account. They wired the money to my new account and then we transferred the money to my regular account and closed the new account. No take backs, this is the way
