@savethecatsaz: We are trying to get a grant from the state to cover her surgery cost to take some of the financial responsibility off her new owners🩵 LiLi was recently diagnosed with megaesophagus, and her vet suspects a vascular ring anomaly may be causing her esophagus to be compressed. She currently needs to be fed upright and monitored closely, and she may need lifelong medication and potentially surgery depending on what her specialists determine. We’re still learning exactly what her care will look like, but we want to be completely transparent about the extra commitment and potential costs involved in adopting her.
