If there is a creator it doesn’t mean they give a shit about us. If I made a civilization of robots and set them free I wouldn’t give a shit about them after a while. Like kids with toys.

The best argument for atheism is that there is no compelling evidence that any gods exist.

I think people need to come to terms with the fact that we exist for the fact of existing, and if we can grow into a higher conscious state, then great, and if we don’t. More wars and more killings. Humans will just eventually just kill themselves off.

The Garden of Eden was not like this in the original creation. Man chose to sin and understand good and evil and so then our world was broken by sin and introduced death, decay, pain, sickness.

Maybe there is a personal God who is not separate from creation, but is Himself all of it.

Every apologetic argument boils down to “God is mysterious”. Which is fine, but don’t pretend it is some rational thing.

If you believe there is evil - you admit that there is also good. If you admit there is good- you also admit there is a moral code. If you admit there is a moral code- you admit there has to be a moral code giver (God)

Escéptico de los Escépticos :
If you want to talk about animal suffering, Christianity actually has an explanation for it. We live in a fallen world. Creation isn’t the way it was meant to be and Christianity teaches that God will eventually restore creation in the new earth.
But here’s what I find interesting. If we are just evolved animals living in a material world, why should animal suffering have any objective moral value? If animals are only products of evolution, where does the idea that their suffering is actually wrong come from?
But if you believe creation has value, then animal suffering makes sense as a serious problem. Christianity doesn’t deny the problem. It says the fallen world isn’t the final state of creation and God has a solution for it.

Suffering on earth was caused by humans not God. When Adam and Eve brought sin into the world, it was corrupted from what God intended

Romans 8: 21 Because the creature also itself shall be delivered from the servitude of corruption, into the liberty of the glory of the children of God. 22 For we know that every creature groaneth and travaileth in pain, even till now. 23 And not only it, but ourselves also, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption of the sons of God, the redemption of our body. 24 For we are saved by hope. But hope that is seen, is not hope. For what a man seeth, why doth he hope for? 25 But if we hope for that which we see not, we wait for it with patience.

God will work backwards to undo and make up for all the evil that was wrought through our own choices and free will. As Samwise says in Lord of the Rings, “Is everything sad going to come untrue?” And we will find, in the end, the answer to that question is yes.

What I’m saying is, the system he designed had free will in it. If it dident their would be no evil but their would also be no choice and God wanted the people he made to choose for themselves what they wanted. But that does not mean that because free exists because of God, that it’s God’s fault evil entered the world. In the garden God then they could eat if anything in the garden but that tree, which was called the tree of knowledge and there was another tree in the garden called the tree of life. God told Adam and Eve they could only eat from the tree of life and not the tree of knowledge of good and evil. God only put that tree their to give Adam and Eve the choice knowing their was the possibility of them choosing to disobey. But if God didn’t put the tree there then their obedience wouldn’t be real because they would have no other options. God saw the out come of putting the tree which was why the plan for Jesus Christ to come and save us was always the plans and not an after thought. We still have the choice today to choose Jesus or not which is God still respecting our free will even now.

God told Adam and Eve not to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. They disobeyed and now we know good AND evil. Don't blame God for this.

So every rape and murder god has a reason for. Every evil action is good now because god has a greater reason for it ?
