God people are so weird about duskbloods discourse. I don’t have a switch 2 and won’t be buying one for it, if it comes to other consoles or I get the chance to get a switch 2 I’ll play it. But if I don’t play it I’ll still appreciate what from did with the game and will be looking forward to their next project

I’m really sad this is what fromsoft is doing with this game. Setting aside the gameplay and whether you like it or not, spending all this time to make a game that’s main motif is to sell a console feels very bad, you could say bloodborne did the same thing but the big difference there is that dark souls 2 released the year before and dark souls 3 released the year after, it’s been FOUR years since Elden ring released coming up on 5 and we don’t even know a single thing about the next main line souls game they’re making. This has been the longest period ever in the history of fromsoft between making story driven souls games. And even worse they’re releasing an Elden ring DLC that adds skins and new classes, just terrible direction recently from this company

Mind you they could’ve added the PVP aspect on Nightreign to sense check the market. They already have the Coliseum asset from ER, and just made a DLC.

I think nitendo switch was always famous for its exclusives but those exclusives were for kids. All those mario games were great and major pillars for nitendo company. It sold 23 million copies till date, and if half of those owners play this game. It will be hit instantly. Its the matter of continuous run of the game, it may succeed to draw more people who doesnt own nitendo switch 2 yet or it may end up like nightriegn. Time will tell!!!

It seems cool at all and like it would do well on steam. I just don't understand why this would ever be a switch two exclusive. not only is this not the type of game that you don't want to play mobile but restricting the player population so much makes no sense. like if you're going to do an exclusive it should be a single player game because then you're not relying on having a large community.
