Drafting isn't the problem. Specializing without a growth strategy is. Master AutoCAD. Master Revit. Become excellent at technical drawings. But also ask yourself: Where does this skill lead next? Could drafting lead to BIM coordination? Design? Project management? Consulting? Your own business? Don't spend years becoming indispensable in one position without building the skills that move you toward the next one.
