You have to earn a cats love and trust. If you hurt them they may hold a grudge for the rest of your life, there aren’t many second chances with cats especially early in your relationship. It’s very necessary to apologize to cats. The moment they aren’t comfortable or aren’t enjoying your company they let you know 😂.. cats teach consent and some people can’t handle that.
