When your boss works so much unpaid overtime they basically get paid less than you

I might get to the office a few minutes early, but I’m gonna use that time getting my beverages in order, hanging up my stuff, and doing anything but my job. I log in on time.

After your videos I started taking my full hour lunch. I’m a salaried manager so we just kind of all worked through them all the time and ate at our desks. Nope. Not anymore. Bye 👋🏻

There are studies that show management behavior like this is counterproductive to the company.

Honestly, we should also get paid drive time and maintenance getting to work. My vehicle is being used for the soul purpose of transporting me to the place of employment.

Worked for a help desk that opened at 8. Users started to complain that someone wasn’t available to help at 8:00:01 because systems were still booting up. We then had to be there at 7:45 to be ready at 8 on the dot. You better believe I put that extra 15min a day on my time card and got paid for it too. Earning an extra hour and 15 min of pay doesn’t sound like much, but it adds up.
