@syracuse.com: Police were called to a Syracuse home on July 31 after a drunken Jasmine Vann got into a fight with her mother over driving while intoxicated. Vann's little sister, Ren’Tasia Broome, offered a solution: Prosecutors said she told a Syracuse police officer she was sober and would give her sister, along with her sister's girlfriend and two young children, a ride. “I’m going to make sure everyone gets home safe,” Broome said in a statement caught on body camera, according to prosecutors. But moments after police left, Broome gave Vann her keys back and helped her into the driver’s seat, prosecutors said. Less than 20 minutes before the fatal crash, police said Vann crashed the car. Yasmeen Shaaf, the 3-year-old daughter of Vann's girlfriend, was killed. Her mother and 7-year-old brother were injured. Broome, 19, has been charged with manslaughter for Yasmeen's death. Wow the sister really deserves to go to jail, she had the opportunity to drive her drunk sister & she just gave her the keys back?!? The mom of the children deserves to be arrested too, she knew Jasmine was drunk & still got into the car with her.

okay so any time i had to pick up a drunk friend friend or cops were involved in suspected dui they made me show ID and breathalized me and the police made sure it was me driving off ..this is sad all the way around ..hope they get the punishment they deserve!
