we raise quail, love the eggs! I add all my eggs to my pot of water, boil for 4 minutes. then throw them in a bowl of ice for about 5 minutes before peeling. when I use them in recipes I usually use 4 in place of one large chicken egg

I used to have quail. The older the egg the larger the air pocket. So the inside shrinks faster than chicken eggs. Mine would shrink up like this in 2-3 weeks.
