I was also struggling trying to decide between beats and Sony. I originally had the Beats Studio Pros and they were amazing, I just wanted something different so I got the Sony XM5 in the color Silver. So far definitely recommend! Everyone makes comments about the sweat but I found covers on Amazon!

skull candy crusher 540 it's pretty good for the gym, especially if you sweat a lot. cost a good penny, but it's worth it and the sound is amazing.

Get the Xm6 the 5s have a hinge problem mine broke just bought the 6s and I love them Sony does have advertisements about using them for the gym too

if you sweat a lot, i know they make silicone covers for the earpads for the beats they prob make them for other brands aswell 🤔

The Sonys have better noice cancelation but the beats have better sound. If you go sony get the 6X
