Antique stores are hit and miss. Some think $5 comics are worth $50-$100 and sometimes you’ll come across someone that doesn’t know much about comics and will have $100 comic for less than $10 and tons and tons of $1 comics sometimes

Surprisingly enough, I went to a Goodwill thinking I wouldn’t find anything and I found the 2005 print of V for vendetta my word I was excited because it was on my read list for so long and the compact come came out and I’m like I don’t wanna buy that that is my last resort and someone bought it at my local shop and I was mad so I’m like you know I’m gonna go to Goodwill. See if there’s anything there and I found it and when I was buying it the cashier asked me if it was child friendly, I think I paid like a dollar maybe $1.25 but still

Yeah I’ve seen other people find really good find at goodwill, but everyone in my area didn’t have any.
