I relate to this so well. My mother wasn’t a nicer person. When she died it was a relief. My counsellor helped me realise you don’t have to love or even like your family because they are blood! And I can say now I didn’t love her because she never wanted me or even liked me. Very sad isn’t it. But it’s made us into the women we are now! And what fabulous women we are 🥰

I broke my ankle at about 18-19 and she sent me to the hospital alone in a taxi. I even had to make my own way home and no one was allowed to help me into the house on my crutches.

I got run over when I was 14. It was quite a serious accident, and I was taken to hospital in an ambulance. My parents and siblings arrived - my father looked worried sick, my siblings were scared and a little excited by all the drama, my mother was FURIOUS!! I had interrupted sunday dinner " There's a chicken in the over Michelle! what were you thinking?!" I was thinking I needed to get home from the shop in time so I didn't face your wrath, and a car over took a lorry, skidded on mud, lost control and under the vehicle I went. She was really annoyed at the inconvenience and the fact I'd dislocated my knee. I had spent all week saving up my lunch money to be able to treat my you get siblings to some sweeties after sunday dinner, cycled to the next village ( the only village with a shop near by) a roughly 12 mile round trip, just so my little siblings could have something nice on a weekend. I was definitely in the dog house for that! 🙄
