On October 15th, 2024, an Orlando police officer stopped a vehicle after observing the driver roll through a stop sign without making a complete stop. The driver immediately challenged the violation and said he planned to fight the citation in court. The officer explained that he had every right to do so, but the traffic stop continued. The officer then noticed that the female passenger in the front seat was not wearing a seat belt. When asked for her identification, she initially claimed she was a minor before admitting that she was 18 years old. The passenger argued that the seatbelt was broken, while the driver repeatedly offered to take the citation himself.
