@shohbiniss: sometimes i wonder if certain places exist only because we remember them. i was walking through the city and everything looked strangely familiar, even though i had never seen it like this before. the buildings felt taller, the streets felt quieter, and the light made everything look like it had already happened. people were crossing the road, cars were passing, bikes were moving through the streets, and somehow it all felt completely still. like i was watching a memory instead of living through a moment. there was something about the way the sunlight disappeared between the buildings that made the whole city feel unreal. not beautiful in the usual way, not cinematic or perfect, just slightly wrong. like someone had taken a normal afternoon and changed one tiny detail that i couldn't figure out. everything was recognizable, but nothing felt familiar. maybe that's what nostalgia actually is. not missing a specific place or a specific time, but missing something you can't even name. a version of yourself that existed for only a few seconds. a life that could have happened but didn't. a street you walked down once and somehow still remember years later. a moment that meant nothing while it was happening, but somehow becomes important when you look back at it. and maybe that's why these pictures feel strange to me. they don't look like photographs of a city. they look like evidence of somewhere i've been in a dream. i don't know when this happened. i just know i remember it. #liminalspace #liminalphotography #dreamcore #nostalgiacore #dreamyplaces
