K, stick with me here. I was getting gas and I overheard this older woman asking the attendant for directions. She was filling her car and was absolutely flustered and upset. I asked if she was alright and she told me this very long story about her terrible day. She had gotten lost and because she didn’t know how to use her phone for directions she was ‘t sure how to get home. I tried putting her address into her phone for her but I thought, oh boy I’m just gonna get her to follow me and I’ll get her home. When we got to her house I asked her to call her daughter and I waited outside until she was safe inside. I thought, if that were my mom I’d want her to get help.

I've had older people pull over and ask for directions and have gotten in my car and told them to follow me. I got them back on the right track

Two weeks ago a woman asked me for directions. Her phone had no data so she couldn’t open maps. I knew how to get there, but when I started to tell her, I realized it was easier to just walk her there. So I did. It’s just what we do!

A plumber helped me get through Glasgow to the freeway. He just said follow me, I’ll drive you to the freeway exit. He was probably 15 minutes out of his way. There are good people everywhere

Sometimes you just know that a tourist will never find a place unless a local shows them where to go. Good luck trying to navigate the maze that is the Toronto subway system as a visitor.

acutally that same thing happened to me in London , I ask a guard or security how do I buy a ticket and he walked me to where you buy and walked me threw the process he said one way I said yes , then showed me where to get on and told where to transfer , so you can be as nice as us Canadians cheers
