Sometimes I think about how cute it would have been to have my own kittens (like, from my girl cat) and then I remember the story my mom told me about how her own cat, that used to be a stray, completely rejected all of her kittens which then left my mom to take care of 8 cats until the kittens were old enough to be adopted

Folks who haven’t had to do this have noooooo clue how exhausting it actually is u must wake up every 3 hours on the hour constantly struggling with latching if being bottle fed stimulating them to go potty ugh my lanta especially if your dealing with sick babies it’s a whole nightmare but worth it in the end for sure just takes alotttt of work to get there 💯💯👌

Legit had someone tell me that both their cats got pregnant and now they have over 12 cats at the moment. Got such a huge ick like… why didn’t you just fix your cats…. Now there’s 10 kittens unfixed that are gonna go god knows where and possibly also get pregnant or get another cat pregnant. It’s so annoying

Genuinely curious - what age are you stimulating them until? I’ve never done it past 3 weeks and these babies are definitely older than that or they wouldn’t be so ambulatory. I think mom isn’t doing it because they don’t need it anymore
