Got my surgery 9/22 went back to work 9/23 and I am an MA! Very difficult but made it work get stitches out 10/2 and I get to see

I just had mine done yesterday in a clinic setting. was awake for the whole thing. Worst part was the first injection of lidocaine. They waited 10 minutes and gave me a 2nd injection. I was talking to the doctor the whole time. When he was almost done he asked IF I wanted to see before he closed it back up. Yes. He told me to move my fingers as I was looking at the open surgery site in my hand and I was able to see my tendings move inside my hand. he stitched me back up and I went to work today. it's sore and bruising but im able to function with caution

Welcome to being left handed in a right handed world 🤣 You’ll be surprised at all the everyday things in life that are only ‘geared’ for righties! Scissors…oven mitts…belts (I wear mine upside down everyday lol) the list goes on! Good luck, sis!

I had both hands done at the same time. Oh and my wife refused to wipe my rear end lol. Had to do it myself

I couldn't stand the ace bandage. I bought some vet wrap and used it to cover the white gauze. It sticks to itself, keeps it cleaner and comes in colors. I ended have to go to a race the weekend after. Yeah try not to use your hand with 2 boys. 🙄

I had a nerve block put in when I had surgery done on the 7th of this month and it took me 26 hours to get feeling back in my hand because I had to have a plate and eight screws put in my wristbone and I still can't grip anything
