As a customer, we are used to being told we need many parts replaced or services done, so we're thinking you want to squeeze more money...BUT show me that my oil pan looks like this....I would pay to replace it and tell you thank you, I appreciate you looking out for me!!!

Where the plug is looks solid. take a pic, call him, telling what might happen, suggest a new pan, get him to agree if it goes south its not your fault. send him a waiver to sign. Might make a new customer with your service skills
