because it's wrong to know the truth and not say anything and she claims that she loves him but she wouldn't defend him because she wants safety but she can get jealous over someone like sarada who has been defending boruto and speaking the truth instead of hiding and that scene where she bad had fit just made me dislike her more because how can you get jealous over a hug but refuse to stand up for him like that's not bow it works if sumire defended boruto I would kind of understand why she got jealous because she tried to do something for him instead she hid and that's what upsetting and I'm not saying she shouldn't put herself first but claiming to love someone and then not doing anything to defend or help clear his name and what he was wrongly accused of is not true love. and all of you guys saying that sarada is a bad friend because she hugged boruto like sarada didn't need a hug because of what she went through getting her house vandalized and hated by the village for saying the truth sumire should've just kept quiet, so before you go and say that it's stupid to hate someone for that first realize what we mean by that.

she works screetly gathering information unnoticed. I truly don't understand how they see her as useless. Sumire is intelligent and aware of the dangers around her she doesn't shout and get worked up unnecessarily, seriously, anyone who thinks yelling at Shikamaru will do any good without proof is a joke. I don’t like Sumire. Like at all . But I do have to be objective. What the girls did was the best. Someone had to be vocal and keep pushing , and someone had to work from the inside. Plus lets not forget Sumire almost destroyed Konoha. She’s on thin ice. Both girls contributed differently. Sarada is not stupid, what she was doing was needed. But Sumire would suffer more severe consequences because of her own history. Plus, ever heard of the concept of divide and concur? Its not beneficial to put all your eggs in one basket. Fights are done on multiple fronts through different mediums and methods.

I understand both of them and we also need to consider the nature of Sarada and Boruto's relationship which made her risk her life for him compared to Sumire and Boruto's relationship her choice to prioritize her safety wasn't a mistake, no one would benefit if something happened to her because she decided to defend him publicly and no one believed her
