Me personally I would of turned it into a cardigan/shrug. I would of used the yarn that you used for the back panel to connect the arms more seamlessly a bit like this xx

here's a hack i do when my color changing yarn is over, i just use other yarns that have the same colors and keep shifting between them so it looks like the color changing yarn

You could use a nice sorbet shade of peach or blue yarn to crochet in a small panel on either side here. Using that same yarn, you could crochet a slightly thicker tie too. Girl at that point you may as well crochet a halter triangle bikini for under it too. 🤣🤣🤣
