As someone who’s been doing tarot for 11 years, for the new readers in the comments, PLEASE practice and do the work before reading for other people. Focus on learning your intuition, trusting your spirit guides, learning the cards and the decks personality, and most importantly grounding. If you do that and work with your deck everyday, with time you’ll be able to do tarot readings for others🥰

If you guys want an easier and less over complicated way to learn, do a simple morning tarot for yourself. Just three cards, one for your morning, one for you afternoon and one for you evening. Don’t look up the verbatim meanings just yet, see how your day goes then at the end of the day journal, what did you notice? How did it line up with your cards? Sometimes for YOU some cards won’t mean their verbatim meanings, like for me the 2 of cups in reverse means I’m going to have a petty argument with someone in my circle.

Since I’m a novice, I take my cards with me to work and practice on my customers (I’m a server) and I’ve literally stuttered and stumbled thru some readings totally confused by what I was saying only to completely floor some people with how accurate they are. The readings also get way more silly too while I’m at work, so it’s fun practice lmao
