It is weird that the DA didn’t refer to her history. But, if they were in agreement on a deal, that could be why. If the DA didn’t want a deal like this, they would likely point out her history.

He's not wrong at all. Her history matters in this instance because this is a pattern of behavior not a mistake and that's his point. He doesn't understand why the prosecutor didn't take that into account and pretty much letting her off the hook. This is the better option. She needs to have consequences... more than community service.

That is a damn good judge. Now a days you can get away with murder if your mom knows the judge and I’ve literally seen it with my own two eyes. Judges that put EVERY PERSONAL EMOTION aside in a courtroom, and stick to the law and good intentions are the very best

I disagree with the judge only because he is using his prior knowledge as a prosecutor, which he is stating, which is bias. All her prior acts and pending cases should be available to the court in a presentencing report for him to make an appropriate sentence but the judge is bias at this point
