In dental hygiene school, students don’t just jump into patient care — we first learn in the classroom, then practice on typodont models and simulation units to understand angulation, pressure, fulcrums, and instrumentation. Many programs also have students practice on each other in supervised settings before moving on to real patients in clinic. Note: This carpule of anesthetic used in the video was sterile!
