@brooke.three.photo: WARNING: Personal Post Incoming🥹 Well… this feels a little surreal to post on this account. 🥹💍 I’ve spent so much of my life behind the camera capturing other people falling in love, getting engaged, getting married, and stepping into the next chapter of their lives. I’ve cried behind my camera, celebrated with strangers who quickly became friends, and told so many love stories through my lens. But last night, for once, I wasn’t the one holding the camera. (Technically I was since I was about to shoot another stranger session and had no idea it was coming) Jordan asked me to marry him. 🤍 And somehow, after photographing so many proposals, I still had absolutely no idea how emotional it would be to experience my own. There’s something so different about realizing the moment you’ve captured for other people over and over again is suddenly happening to you. I’m still processing all of it — the surprise, the nerves, the tears, the excitement, and the fact that I get to call this man my fiancé. 🥹 I’ll never stop being grateful that my job allows me to witness so much love, but getting to have this moment for myself will forever be one of my favorite stories to tell.
