One of my friends from Eastern Cape almost became a casualty when this bridge was built back in 2000. I remember a white engineer who's family donated her parts like heart and kidneys. Our brothers and sisters became a sacrifice for us in Bushbuckridge to see the Injaka Dam complete and became this beautiful art and pride of our region.

eeeh I'm not going near this bridge I once saw inkanyamba facing the other side and I was in a taxi i never spoke about I froze until we got passed that bridge 😭
