The vanguard ftse all world acc is quite diverse ,i has over 1000s of companies including the major ones in the s&p 500 aswell ,but also its invested into companies around the world ,i may be USA heavy but all the major companies are from America ,this etf just allows the person to be exposed to abit of everything, reducing risk and increasing diversification ,key thing to remember is consistency with any etf .
Vanguard FTSE All-World UCITS ETF (Accumulating), VWRP, then yes, it does adjust its holdings over time — but not by trying to guess what’s “trending” or what will do well next. Think of it like this:
* It tracks the FTSE All-World Index. The index contains large- and mid-sized companies across developed and emerging markets.
* If a company becomes more valuable, it generally becomes a larger part of the ETF.
* If a company’s value falls, its weighting generally becomes smaller.
* If new companies qualify for the index, they can be added; companies that no longer qualify can be removed.
* So if, for example, technology companies become much more valuable relative to other sectors, VWRP will naturally end up holding more of them.
* But Vanguard isn’t actively saying “AI is hot, let’s buy more AI stocks.” It’s passive investing, following the index rules rather than making predictions.
