And now you have reduced your flow. If you want clean air in your home, by standalone air cleaners with HEPA filters and run them 24/7 in the two most occupied spaces you have. If you feel like you absolutely positively have to have a air filter on your HVAC/furnace, get the MERV 1’s that are practically transparent. Great for catching animal, hair, and feathers, and large gobs of dust… Everything else your portable air cleaners will take care of, and you’ll get better output through your system.
