Yeah… as a Star Wars fan, it was fun until the wider public got it. Once it hit the news, it was all over. Same thing happened with boogaloo gear in firearm communities. We had something fun “haha, Hawaiian shirt and flipflops!” Then the racists showed up, stole it away, and then it was on the news. And now we can’t have that gag anymore without people questioning if you’re a white supremacist.
