@tinyblossomsoflife: Embracing the bald. 🤍 I started losing my hair about three weeks after my first chemo, and I honestly wasn’t prepared for how quickly it would happen. It was coming out in chunks, falling out everywhere I went, and my scalp became so tender. Eventually, I decided to shave it. It was falling out every second, and I knew eventually it would all be gone anyway. What I didn’t expect was for my husband to shave his head with me. 🥹 He had been growing his hair out for so long, and his hair was seriously at its peak 😂, but without hesitation, he shaved it all off too. He said he did it so I wouldn’t feel different without hair and so we could go through it together. I even told him he shouldn’t have because at least I could wear wigs lol. Fast forward three weeks, and you can’t even see his scalp anymore… I’m so thankful to have him beside me through this journey. He has truly been my rock and has supported me, cared for me, and helped me in more ways than I could have ever imagined.
