As someone who was in sales and did this quite often you first need tons of report with them and then the other side is once you go there you can’t go back. Now we’re all logical and no more emotion in the sale and no more friendliness we’re going thru logistically why you feel you can’t make this happen right now since its exactly what you’re looking for.

Slavic mortgage broker cold called to sell me refi. I said I’m shopping around, her rates were higher than her competitors (for a fact). With the thickest Russian accent she tried one last sales technique saying “you can shop till you blue in the face, at some point you should just pull the trigger instead of just shopping all day. So is this a yes?”. Hunny, I laughed so hard and hang up the phone and she kept calling and emailing. And I did refi with her competion for a lot lower. I don’t know why some sales folks think rudeness will win them deals
