I’m generally against AI taking people’s jobs but I’d lowkey support replacing some of my coworkers with bots. They’re equally likely to be wrong but at least AI doesn’t corner me in a useless 30 minute conversation while I’m trying to eat my lunch in peace 💀

To be fair, people are wrong a LOT of the time. Should we, on a moral level, replace humans with AI? Hell no. Can AI do most "data specialist" and "analyst" jobs at the same relative accuracy as the human? Also yes.

they also don't understand what AI is. mine uses it to make schedules. when I complain about it, they say, "no, it's not ai, it's a program that collects years of data and uses it to predict how many hours each day we need to schedule. "
