If you have worked wearing a body cam...there isn't a great place for them. If they are on the body, at some point they will get obstructed. The best place is on the head, by the eyes. That way it sees what you see.

She stated he pointed a gun directly at her. No evidence shows he did such action. Meaning if you’re in an open carry state such as Texas, ANY cop can accuse ANYONE of pointing a gun at them that openly carries. Think about that.

Our local prosecutors call bodycam evidence “hearsay”. Which of course can simply mean “rumor” or “gossip”. Legally it means “out of court testimony” that pairs with what is said to be true. They hardly ever just let the video talk anyways. But also yeah, the camera isn’t the officer’s eyes. I can turn my eyes dramatically right for example but leave my torso facing forward.
