I’ve seen a lot of accounts on FB like this including my own. No profile picture, splitting videos in half and posting both at the same time, High views but not a lot of engagement. I’ve tried a number of times to get one pretending to be me taken down and it’s always they didn’t find anything wrong. I guess I’m going to have to do this. Thank you!

I'm not sure if it still does, but if your copyright or any other report comes back negative, Meta would give you an option to re-submit it to the Oversight Board, which is their company's "judicial branch". Their purpose was the same, but there was more "nuances" in the report. On my now-deleted FB account, I had reported a few very egregious content and comments between 2020 and early 2024. Of maybe five of the content I reported: two returned with no violation while the other three were in review status for over a year or two up around the time I deleted my Facebook account.

most companies automatically take down any pages listed in a DMCA letter. its usually up to the other side to request a counter review but must content thieves dont bother since its all automated and they just move onto stealing from someone else. you also can just email them and skip the letter to save on postage

for what it’s worth some providers will respect their own DMCA form. some require an email. You probably don’t need to mail anything.
