@thelondondentist: Tartar/calculus cleaning 🦷✨ I could watch this ALL DAY 😮‍💨🦷 But what is actually being removed here? That hard build-up is calculus, also called tartar. Plaque starts off soft, but if it isn’t removed effectively, minerals in your saliva can cause it to harden onto the teeth. Once it has mineralised like this, your toothbrush isn’t going to simply brush it away. Hi, could you guide me on what to do with my tooth filling; first molar. I had a filling replaced because it was very old and previously it was composite bonding and this one is exactly the same. I’ve got it replaced over a year ago. I don’t have any pain, but I feel like a pressure feeling and if I scratch it with my nail, I feel tiny amount of pain. I was told it’s nowhere near the nerve.
