I clean as we go! I never try to let it get out of hand. Before we go outside we have to pick up the mess, before we want a snack we have to pick up. Does result in cleaning up the same mess multiple times, but I cannot function with too big of a mess or I get stressed lol. Obviously easier said than done cuz sometimes they don’t want to :) but for the most part he does okay! I will ask him to pick up and offer to help him if he doesn’t after once or twice I will simply take his hand and walk him to the mess and physically use his hand to start picking up and then he does. And I say here let me help you we always pick up our messes. Sometimes this makes him upset but I’m not going to ask 500 times lol

I'm 7 mo pregnant with a 14 mo old boy I'm resting during his naps and working when he's awake. The toy area gets dealt with every other day after bedtime

I have a 10 month old, cleaning up during the first nap bc things don’t get too crazy between morning wake up-first nap then after that cleaning up from the rest of the day in the evening when he goes to bed

Do the 10 minute pick up at night before dinner. That’s what I used to do with the boys before Ronny came home from work. They helped!! We would sing clean up clean up and put everything away! Good times.

I put the toys back and clean up lunch/dishes but like a full on clean with a vacuum and wipe down happens at night bc yeah too much to do twice unless I’m just full of energy so never 😂

I’ve started doing a clean up the last 10 minutes before her nap- either with or without her help haha but I love that so I can relax (/nap) in peace

He cleans with me most days it’s just him following me around and pulling more toys back out but I tell myself I’m modeling cleaning and one day he will clean too 🤣🤣🤣 at bedtime he’s starting to get it and won’t pull out any toys he’s ok with putting everything up he’s 27 months

I do not always pick up during nap time. I am 36 weeks pregnant and now I am trying to get things done before the baby so I’ll give myself 20-30min to do a task and then I go nap lol. I can’t not have a nap at this point. But my 1 year old girl is making as much of a mess, just worth different kinds of toys as my 3 year old boy 🥲🥲

SAHM of a toddler girl - we rarely have nap time because she refuses but when she does nap I don’t clean!! *maybeee the dishes, but not the toys!

yes i reset during nap time unless i have things to work on during the nap! i also make them help clean up as much as they can before they go down

Ryder and Jett clean up at night! But I always feel like there’s no point in cleaning until they’re down for the night, it’s the endless cycle and I’m on the verge of throwing half their toys away😂

I clean up during lunch before nap so I can have a clean house during my rot time. Also I do toy rotations so even if my kids take out EVERYTHING I can still clean it all up within 5-10 min

Slight reset, but not full clean up both times of day. Pretty much just get the stuff off the floor. Also the 3 & 1 year old help clean up before nap. Absolutely get rid of toys too
