We just need around two right wingers, one left winger, a CM to compete with Mac Allister, one DM, and another young defender who can provide backup while also learning from Virgil van Dijk as he gets older. Lastly, we need a proper right-back to compete with Frimpong. These additions would improve our squad depth and, more importantly, create healthy competition for every position. Players would know that if they don’t perform well, there’s someone ready to take their place on the bench.
