I'm not a psychopath, however, I do have lessened emotions due to trauma, and even I find having to fake emotions for other people is exhausting. So I can only imagine for someone with psychopathy. Not to mention, you can learn cognitive empathy, and it's a useful skill; however, people don't understand what it can be like for anyone to feel very little emotion.

I think that everyones personality is a mask. What we are innately is never fully expressed. Environment shapes us all into socially acceptable actors that play a role (depending on environment).

Psychopaths understand and can read emotion but in general they don’t feel their own feelings. Autistic people feel lonely but are able to express. We feel you we know how to react control and behave. We just have more experience. Just like a truck driver would be great at loading trucks. Autistic people are better at coping with loneliness. Psychopaths feel lonely but just don’t know how to behave. I have friends that are psychopaths some of whom are the best friends in the world
