@angeluuuuuhh: I take my fans apart, clean them in the tub with bleach and Dawn, let every thing air dry and put it right back together. Boom…. Just like brand new!

The dust and lint is primarily stuck to the fan (not blown out) because the fan surfaces develop a negative polarity when it is operated, so it acts like a magnet for dust and lint matter, which has the opposite (positive) polarity.
