my mom has a camera in the living room (for good reason, caught a predator going after my sister) but it’s ONLY in the living room! (and her room, but that’s hers) we’ve always had a camera bc my sisters don’t listen. so i can understand the good aspects of it. however, i’m so sorry to the people who don’t have the good side of it.

nah I have them in my kitchen and living room, I feel uncomfortable since I’m on call with friends or my boyfriend the majority of the time so I have to be careful since my parents could listen in since they have audio too. I hate it

yeah cameras everywhere in my desi family home. my creepy father wanted it in our upstairs living room and the hallway outside by bedroom too but luckily my mom argued against it for me. i feel like there were hidden cameras in my bedroom/bathroom though because he just kept buying surveillance cams. i never felt comfortable in that house because of it. luckily i managed to move out
