i’m very much considering an English PGCE post-uni and, whilst you’re History, you’d best believe I’m running to your account if I end up a secondary teacher

Hi! I really enjoy your videos, I‘ve learned a lot watching them! I was wondering if you have any advice for someone going into their first year of teaching young adults/adults. I‘m going to be teaching adult language and literacy courses for immigrants/international students. I struggle a lot with positioning myself as a teacher and authority figure especially because I‘ll likely be the same age or even younger than some of my students. I don’t know if they’ll be able to listen to me or take me seriously. Do you have any advice?

What would you suggest for a Y11 tough class with plenty of big characters. I made it through Y10, but I know this could go either way now

Hi - just wondering if your webinar will be recorded? I really want to go but we go back to work that day, so I would love to watch it later. No problem if it’s not though. Thanks 😊

Thank you 😭😭. Will be seeing you at your webinar. Starting ECT 1 as a mat cover for science in sept. You don’t know how much you’ve helped.
