I lost 90 POUNDS naturally in one year in my 20s while living with PCOS and YES, I have loose skin. 💪 And no, this isn’t AI. No, this isn’t fake. I’m a real person living in New York City who actually did this. 🤍 So let’s talk about some things you probably didn’t know about loose skin after weight loss: 1. There’s no one-size-fits-all answer for who gets loose skin. How much weight you lose, how quickly you lose it, your age, genetics, how long your skin was stretched, and your skin’s elasticity can all play a role. 2. Your skin can change AFTER you lose the weight. I’ve personally noticed that I have way less loose skin now than I did immediately after losing the weight. Your skin doesn’t necessarily look exactly the same the day you hit your goal weight as it does later on. 3. Loose skin doesn’t mean you did anything wrong. Sometimes you can do everything “right” and still have it. Losing a significant amount of weight can leave stretched skin behind because the skin doesn’t always completely return to its previous shape. Honestly, my loose skin doesn’t bother me nearly as much as I thought it would. In reality… It’s just a little extra jiggle here and there LOL. 😂 And I’m so happy, healthy, and proud of what my body has accomplished that it really doesn’t bother me.
