She adopted me when I was a sick, almost-dying baby, after my biological mother, who was struggling with drug addiction, and my father chose to rebuild his first family and abandoned me. Before taking me in, she was full of life, but from the moment she became my mother, she dedicated her life to making sure I survived, grew up, and had a chance to make something of my life. I owe her everything. She gave up so much of herself just to give me the life I have today. And now, I’m doing my best to give that love back—to take care of her, support her, and give back whenever I can. I may never be able to repay everything she has done for me, but I’ll spend my life trying.

when i was little, my mom abandoned me completely overnight in a apartment that was constantly losing electricity & water, all i knew was my grandma’s number & email, so i taught myself to make my first gmail so i could ask her to bring me mcdonalds. when she got to me & saw what i’d been living in alone, she took me with nothing but the clothes on my back. She saved my life more times than i can count. that’s my why!!!!!!!!!
