I switched the "idiot! why can't you win this" to "I'm getting better every time, bit by bit". now I almost never rage quit, I'm actually getting better and I'm having a ton more fun when I play. mindset is key

yea focusing too much on that "label" or "rank" you want is going to frustrate you more when you fail towards it. just keep trying and doing think about it so you put more focus in the process than the goal. that's how i became master rank various times in apex legends

Learned SO much playing WoW that applies to irl and gaming. I had a raid leader that was such a...welll not very nice person. So when I started raid leading, I was just patient with people. It was literally that easy to get their attention. Didn't talk down to people or blame them. Just showed EVERYONE what to do instead of singling people out. Video games are not polluting our brains, they teach a lot actually. Plus the public has real people in it. Gross. :P

I've been telling my wife this for years, she wasnt allowed to game growing up and I unlocked that door and now she loves it. From time to time she gets so frustrated and angry at herself for "failing" I have to remind her, its about the journey baby girl, and when you finally do, succeed, the whole thing feels better knowing you enjoyed the whole ride, not just the end.... she is also very hot, coincidence?... I think not
