@hawkinshomes: HORSE FRIENDS & ANIMAL LOVERS 🐴❤️ Over the past year, my 20-year-old mare has developed significant respiratory challenges, and unfortunately, her condition has become quite severe. We’ve explored several traditional approaches, including soaked hay, dexamethasone, antihistamine granules, and other supportive measures, with limited success-as there is no cure to Heaves. Because of this, I’ve decided to document her journey as we explore an alternative approach that I’ve been researching and investing in for quite some time. Glutathione, a naturally occurring antioxidant that has been extensively studied in humans for its role in supporting antioxidant defenses, immune function, liver health, the body’s natural detoxification processes, and respiratory wellness. There is considerably less research available regarding its use in large animals, which is why I want to be very transparent about her journey and document what we observe along the way.
